The Pa Accessible Housing program provides resources to support the ability of persons with permanent disabilities to live independently in accessible housing. This program can provide adaptive modifications that do not extend beyond the original structure of the home that will enable a person with a permanent disability to remain in their home. Possible adaptations that can be made to the home include wheel chair ramps, widening of doorways/hallways, accessible showers, etc.
