Bridges out of Poverty training available to local agencies at no cost.
Center for Community Action is pleased to announce they can provide Bridges out of Poverty training to local organizations. CCA has a trained facilitator that can provide up to 3 hrs of training at your agency at no cost. Additional training up to 16 hours can be provided if the agency purchases the workbook for participants.
Bridges out of Poverty is a nationally recognized program with the goal of helping agencies fight the long term effects of poverty in a meaningful way. By building relationships based on understanding the real experiences of people in poverty, agencies can begin to address barriers in a manner that improves outcomes and sustained self-sufficiency. Our trained facilitator will work with your agency to tailor the training to meet your needs and experience level whether you are a faith based, government or business organization.

CCA’s trained facilitator, Stacey Tice, can come to your agency at a time that is convenient for you. Stacey has Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from Oklahoma University and is a Ph.D. Candidate in Leadership Administration in Nonprofit and Public Sectors from Indiana University of PA. Her major focus of study has been in instructional design, social theory and organizational culture. Stacey has worked in the nonprofit and public sectors in three states in fields including education, drug and alcohol prevention, early childhood education, adult education, and poverty programs such as homelessness. Stacey is an experienced facilitator, trained in a variety of programs dealing with social and family issues.
